  (p + 0)^ := 'a'
end;

begin
  f()
end.

(p + 0)^ := 'a' gives a syntax error.

```pas proc f(); var c: Char, p: pointer to Char; begin p := @c; (p + 0)^ := 'a' end; begin f() end. ``` `(p + 0)^ := 'a'` gives a syntax error.
