There only test helpers in the TH module and TH isn't a part of the core GraphQL functionality. So it may be possible to move this module to the graphql-spice package and get rid of the dependency on TemplateHaskell. graphql-spice has anyway some TemplateHaskell helpers already. The problem is that the tests that use the helper should be moved as well or the helper should be copied to the test suite.
